These terms apply to every booking made with G Wagon Chauffeurs (“we”, “us”, “our”) for chauffeur-driven Mercedes G63 AMG hire. By confirming a booking you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, please contact us before you book.
1. Quotes and bookings
- Quotes are based on the details you give us (date, times, pick-up, drop-off, stops, passengers and hours). If those details change, the price may change.
- A booking is only confirmed when we send you a written booking confirmation (by email or WhatsApp).
- Please check your confirmation carefully and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.
2. Payment and deposits
- A deposit may be required to secure your date. The amount and the date the balance is due will be shown on your quote or booking confirmation.
- Any balance must be paid before the start of your booking unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
- Prices include the vehicle, a professional chauffeur and fuel unless your quote says otherwise. Parking, tolls, congestion or ULEZ charges and airport drop-off fees may be added where they apply, and we will tell you in advance.
3. Changes and cancellations
- If you need to change your booking, contact us as early as possible. We will always try to help, but changes depend on availability and may affect the price.
- Cancellation charges, if any, depend on how much notice you give and will be set out in your booking confirmation.
- In the unlikely event that we have to cancel, we will offer you a suitable alternative or a full refund of any money you have paid us.
4. Timings, waiting time and overruns
- Your booked time starts at the agreed pick-up time and ends when your chauffeur drops you at your final destination or the booked hours run out, whichever comes first.
- If you would like to extend your booking on the day, please ask your chauffeur. Extra time depends on availability and is charged at the hourly rate on your quote.
- For airport, station and cruise port pick-ups we monitor arrival times. Any free waiting time included will be shown on your quote.
5. Passengers and conduct
- Each G63 AMG carries a maximum of five passengers. For safety and insurance reasons we cannot carry more than this.
- Seat belts must be worn at all times. Smoking and vaping are not allowed in our vehicles.
- Alcohol may be consumed on board only where this has been agreed in advance, and never by anyone under 18. Your chauffeur may refuse alcohol on board at any time.
- Your chauffeur may end a journey if a passenger’s behaviour puts safety at risk, is abusive, or is likely to damage the vehicle. No refund is due in that case.
- The person who makes the booking is responsible for the behaviour of their group.
6. Damage and cleaning
You are responsible for any damage to the vehicle caused by you or your passengers, other than normal wear and tear. If the vehicle needs specialist cleaning (for example because of spilled drinks, food or sickness), a reasonable cleaning charge may apply to cover the cost and any time the vehicle is out of service. We will always explain any charge to you.
7. Children and child seats
If children will be travelling, please tell us their ages when you book so we can make sure the right seats are available. All passengers must travel in line with UK child-seat law. Proms and school events are booked by a parent, guardian or school representative.
8. Luggage and personal belongings
Each vehicle carries up to six suitcases, depending on size. Please let us know about large or unusual items in advance. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle, but we will always try to return lost property; contact us as soon as possible.
9. Delays and events outside our control
We plan every journey carefully and allow for traffic. However, we are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe traffic, road closures, accidents, extreme weather or emergencies. If this happens we will keep you informed and do everything we reasonably can to get you to your destination.
10. Our responsibility to you
We will provide our service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited under English law. Otherwise, our total liability to you for any booking is limited to the price you paid for that booking. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please tell us as soon as possible by calling 07903 281281 or emailing hire@gwagonchauffeurs.co.uk. We aim to resolve every complaint quickly and fairly.
12. Your personal information
We use the details you give us only to manage your enquiry and booking. Please see our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for more information.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
